Heritage & History – Commercial Vehicle Mudguards

In 1967 Boydell & Jacks was the first company in the world to conceive and produce a Commercial Vehicle Mudguards from Thermoplastic.

Remaining a family business for the past 55 years, we have been at the forefront of design and innovation, gaining an enviable reputation as a company more than willing to collaborate with our customers to help achieve their objectives.

In 1988 we became the first Mudguard Manufacturing company to be accredited with the quality assurance standard BS5750 and became a BSI Registered Company. The original accreditation was maintained, and over time, the system has developed into BS EN ISO 9001:2015

The Featherwing brand of products has become synonymous with quality and reliability, and has been adopted by OE Truck & Trailer manufacturers including DAF, Scania, MAN, Dennison, Gray & Adams, Montracon & SDC.
